How to rent your bridal accessories?
We have tried to make the process as easy as possible! Simply select and reserve your dream accessories with a complementary personal consultation, pick-up your order the day before your wedding and then return your order to us within 3 days.
What is the rental fee?
The rental fee of our accessories varies according to their value from $600 to $3,000. Meanwhile, brides are required to pay a refundable deposit equals to each item’s retail price by credit card.
How far in advance can I reserve my accessories?
We guarantee your reservations up to 6 months in advance. We have set this timeline because The Something Borrowed Collection is subject to change over time and we want to ensure your choices are up-to-date and fresh enough.
How often do you get new items?
Our buyers add new items to the collection twice a year, in the spring and fall. To view and try The Something Borrowed Collection, you are recommended to visit our bridal salon.
Where is your showroom?
Our bridal salon is located in Central and we love to show brides the collection we have in person! Even though it is not a must to visit our salon with an appointment, we always suggest our brides to first give us a telephone call in advance to ensure they will be well served at the time of their visit.
Reserve & Pick-up
When does my rental period begin and end?
We offer a 3-day rental period and your rental period begins the day you come to pick-up your reserved items. For example, if you select to pick-up your pieces on a Monday, that means your rental period begins on Monday and you would need to return your order to us within 3 days by Wednesday.
I'm having a destination wedding, can I rent more than 3 days?
The 3-day rental period is our standard package, yet special arrangement can be made subject to the availability. If you wish to rent an item for more than 3 days, 5% of the retail price will be charged for each additional day.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellation will not be accepted once the order is confirmed. Nevertheless, we are happy to let you choose another piece for rental or purchase any time before the date you pick-up your reserved item (subject to the availability of our stock).
What if someone before me doesn't return the piece that I have reserved?
This is a great question! While we hope that all brides are conscientious of the fact that other brides are depending on our service, from time to time an item may be lost, stolen or damaged. Our commitment to you is that you will have something you love on your wedding day. Whether it's expediting a replacement piece or allowing you to borrow a similar brand new alternative from another group, and then adding it to our Something Borrowed Collection afterwards, we will do everything we could to make it right. You are also able to request a refund at any time if an item becomes unavailable, yet other than refund we will have no liability in the event an item becomes unavailable.
What if I return my rental late?
The borrowing possibilities of every accessory are contingent upon reliable returns. As a result, we charge a late fee of 5% of the retail price for each additional day your accessory is not returned. We are truly grateful to you for choosing us as your “something borrowed” and appreciate you being mindful of the next bride.
What if I want to keep my items?
The Something Borrowed Collection is not for purchase because your items are more than likely reserved by other brides and failing to return your items would jeopardize our ability to satisfy the others. However, under special circumstances, exceptions will occasionally be granted. Please directly contact us at 2813 4700 about your special request.
What if my jewelry lost, stolen or damaged?
If any piece of jewelry is lost, stolen, damaged, shows abnormal signs of wear, or is abnormally dirty or encrusted with any foreign substance, 100% of the original retail price will be charged, which will be deducted from your deposit directly.
